one week to rwanda 🇷🇼

we are less than 200 hours from boarding our flights. we originally planned to join this africa new life mission trip in june 2015. God had different plans for us. as many know, elizabeth was in a serious automobile accident in late may that year, thus postponing our visit by 20 months. 

now we are within a week of departure, and God willing, we will be en route late next week. 

we invite you to follow along on this blog and social media to see what we see, smile at what brings us smiles, and lean in with your heart to the things we feel God calling us to experience. 

as we prepare this final week, we humbly request prayer for our team, leader, africa new life, travel, health, hearts and most of all, for the people of rwanda and our sponsored children. 

dear Lord, please reveal yourself in mighty ways, let your rivers of love flow through the land of a thousand hills. may we obediently follow you as you guide our steps on this journey. amen.
